China leads world championship recently.
There was round 64 of 1st MongBak Cup on 9th of July in Beizing. Even more Chinese players attended, the result was kind of shock for Korea.
Korea seems to be only one who can compete with China in world championships, but the result of round 64 is disappointment for Korea. Jo HanSeong, Choi ChelHan won against women players who had lower name-value comparing to them. But Park JungHwan, Kang DongYun, Kim JiSuk, Kim SeongJae top players in Korea lost against Chinese young players who are mostly not very famous.
18 Korean players attended for round 64, but only 6 players got into round 32. Lee SeDol won against Chang Hao, Choi ChelHan won against Song LeongHui, Jo HanSeong won against Wang ChengXing, Na Hun won against Shi Wei, Joo HyongWook won against Juo JuinShin and amateur Oh JangWook won against Hei JaJa. Na Hun and Oh JangWook's win has much meanings but total results were so pity for Korea.
25 Chinese players got into round 32 in the end. It seems that It was China's day. Mi YuTing won against Kang DongYun, Peng ChiAn won against Park JungHwan which surprised Korea players. It was out of Korea team's expectation as Chinese players are known to be out of their best year. But their level was enough to win against top players of Korea.
It is so thick, it seems that there are hundreds of Chinese players who have top levels and can win against top Korea players. Only 6 Korea players can compete with other 25 Chinese players? But it is personal tournament, so we do not give up now. But it is still true that Korea is behind against China.
There is one player in Japan named Yuki Satoshi who got in to round 32. He won against Jung SeongHun from Korea and he is the oldest player in the round 32.
Round 32 will be held 11th of July in the same place. It is time for Korea players to do their best and make miracles.
