The organizer said Korea Baduk Federation (KBF) decided to hold it at the hotel to satisfy many participants' needs requested for many years.

It is expected the schedule will become much more flexible and comfortable for the participants so that they can be free from the tough schedule from the previous KPMCs.

Also, he said as the first event for KPMCs history, 19th KPMC will hold a new event which foreign participants play against Korean children players who had awarded in Ilyo News Cup, the biggest children competition in Korea.

KBF would like to provide both sides (foreign and national children) could have the precious opportunity to communicate with each other throughout Baduk.

Besides, there will be several events such as KPMC Pair Baduk tournament, simultaneous games by pros, and sightseeing as well as the new event above that participants can enjoy.

By the way, Taebaek City will hold the congress which is the first challenge in Korea next year with the cooperation of KBF.

It is expected many foreign and national Baduk players will enjoy the Baduk festival.
