Korea got a gold medal when necessary.
Finally, Korea team won against China team and got a gold medal. It was quite out of expectations as Chinese players are better in name-value.
Tan Shao rank 5, Peng Liyao rank 9 in China are in Chinese team and they are looked to be burden for Korea team. Lee DongHun, Na Hun, Byen Sangil and Kang SeongMin are very hot players in Korea but they do not have much experiences which is so important in world championship.
Actually, Korea's expectation was headed to women team. But men's team showed unbelievable win before women team. Na hun and Byen Sangil won each against Tan Shao and Tang WeiXing and total score was 2 to 1 for Korea.
Furthermore, Byen Sangil's win has much meaning than just one game. Byen 2Dan had 4 games against Tang WeiXing and lost 3 games first. But Byen 2Dan won in the last game and decided Korea team's win.
Na Hun also had very difficult times as he lost against Shao JungHao from Taiwan and Hirata from Japan which showed his bad conditions before the final match against China team. But he showed his own style in the last game against Tan Shao and won in the end.
Korea women team was very pity as they lost by 1 to 2 from china team.
Therefore, Korea got 1 gold medal and 3 silver medals in the end while China team got 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal.
They will meet again soon in other world championship and they are expected to improve a lot before it. People expect a lot for watching their games in the near future.
