Won against each Choi ChelHan and Park JungHwan in 2012 Samsung Cup
Lee SeDol and Guli won against each Choi ChelHan and Park JungHwan in the semi-final of the 2012 Samsung Cup on 12th.
Park JungHwan 9Dan lost the game which he led a lot against Guli. The game caught many people's eye as Park JungHwan is next generation of Korea and Guli is kind of legend of China now. Both players tried very new moves from the beginning and started to fight after that. Park 9Dan led the game by capturing Guli's group in the right lower corner.
However Park 9Dan lost an important sequence when trying to live his weak group in the center. When Park 9Dan was in a danger, he exchanged it with other big point. Park 9Dan still was ahead but he lost the game by invading Guli's corner in the end game.
Park 9Dan tried lastly on the left side but couldn't make anything as Guli answered perfectly.
Players in the review room shouted many times as Park 9Dan led the game a lot from the beginning, but lost the game in the end.
The game between Lee SeDol and Choi ChelHan was also really interesting as both players love to fight from the beginning. When Choi 9Dan caught Lee SeDol's group on the right corner, many thought Choi 9Dan led the game.
However Lee SeDol's power has been showed in an unexpected area. Lee 9Dan attacked severely Choi 9Dan's only weak group trying to balance the territory, and also killed some in the center. It was end.
