Won 9Dan beats Choi 9Dan in the semi-final of the LG Cup.

Choi ChelHan, Kang DongYun lost in the end.  
The final is between Won SungJin and Shi Wei

Won SungJin 9Dan and Shi Wei 5Dan beat each Choi ChelHan 9Dan and Kang DongYun 9Dan in the semi-final of the 17^th LG Cup on 7^th of November.

This time, Korean players showed very strong impact from round 32 with the result 9 wins 1 loses against Chinese players. After that, Korean players keep its better position against Chinese player but the final is between Korean and Chinese.

Won SungJin 9Dan won first. He were in the semi-final in 7^th and 8^th of LG Cup but couldn't go further as he lost against Lee ChangHo 9Dan at that time. But this time, Won 9Dan beats Choi 9Dan and jumped to the final in the end.  

Won 9Dan showed very stable balance against Choi 9Dan. Choi 9Dan tried to make big territory on the right corner and side as he was behind in the first fight in the beginning. But Won 9Dan found the only way to live his group and also reduced Choi 9Dan's territory.

Shi Wei 5Dan won against Kang DongYun 9Dan in another game. Kang 9Dan from Korea showed very good power to follow but Shi Wei countered with calm and stable moves until the end.

She Wei 5Dan was born in 1991 and became pro when he was 12 years old. Currently She Wei 5Dan is rank 3 in China and in the LG Cup, his opponent were very strong like Lee SeDol, Na Hun etc.

They have no game record before. Won 9Dan said in the interview that I know Shi 5Dan is really strong and I lost one time in the China league. But I will prepare this time better and win the tournament.

Won SungJin 9Dan is preparing for his duty of military service and planning to do it this coming February. He is considering how he prepare the final of the LG Cup.
