Lee SeDol is the first player who steps up into the semi final of the Hignone Myeongin Cup.  

Lee SeDol meets Kim JiSuk on 2th of October which is the first game in round 8 in the 40^th Highone Myeongin Cup.

It was really important game for both players and a lot of tensions arose before the game. But it scraped down by Kim JiSuk's miss-reading in the beginning. The balance was good for both players in the beginning, but when there was pae on the upper right corner, Kim JiSuk showed a bit mistake in reading the variation. After that, the game went good for Lee SeDol suddenly but Lee 9Dan played his best to keep it until the end. Lee 9Dan spent more time than Kim 8Dan and Lee 9Dan came back to the seat early after lunch.

Thanks for it, Lee 9Dan could defend Kim 8Dan's last moves and won by resign with white in the end. By this game the total game record between two players is 11 wins 3 loses for Lee 9Dan. Lee SeDol will wait his opponent between Park YoungHun 9Dan and Choi ChelHan 9Dan. <
