When I saw Danier for the first time, I thought he is Korean.  

He looked not east-asia people more likely to be 20s Korean.  
I could see him in the several tournaments, he looks very reticence. I was really surprised when he asked me in English.

As my English is not that good to have communications with him, our conversation was not very long and just asked like who is better now.

I knew Danier is going to MyeongJi university majoring in Baduk department. He is not only foreigner to study Baduk to Korea, but there are many in Baduk department at MyeongJi university. At that time, I did not ask many questions to him.

After 1 year later, I met him again. I did not recognize him in a first sight, but he did. When he said something in English, I recognize him by that time feeling sorry for him.

Danier hold a cup designed with Baduk board and stone on the surface of the cup. It is called tumbler. Danier told me that he is selling it to others by making it himself.

I re-asked him aren't you a student, and he answered yes. He is a student but doing this because he wants to get new experiences and is selling Baduk accessory.

Danier is not the person who is a business person which means he is not selling it to earn money.

Danier is just 25 years old but one of the executive official in Singapore Baduk association.

When Jo MiKyeong went there to spread Baduk, Danier gave a lot of help to her. There are many who used to be interested in spreading Baduk in Singapore but Jo MiKyeong 2 Dan went there in 2009 and doing it until now.

Danier had difficulty when he came to Korea with language. He did not prepare to learn Korean thinking that Korean speaks English very well. Not only Dainer but also his parents and friends had same idea.

When Dainer came to Korea, his expectation went wrong a lot, and the life in the university was very hard for him.

"Students seemed to avoid me for a long time. They were afraid of speaking English with me not like they do not like me. But I knew this after several months later.

Danier has been in Korea 1.5 years and only one semester left until graduation. Danier is doing his best, and his will is doing something valuable here in Korea before he meets again with his parents. He is learning Korean very well and his dream is to make different mind in Singapore Baduk association.

- How will you change the mind in Singapore Baduk association?
"I am a secretary in SBA which is their position after president and vice president. But I don't get payment, manager gets payment. A manager dose a lot of things such as organize the tournament, administrate the club etc. I came here to learn about education, and management and adopt it to SBA directly. I will separate each positions and pay for them. So that we can boost Baduk in Singapore better.

Then why did you sell tumbler?  
All of a sudden, tumbler came to my mind that many people are proud of having Starbugs tumbler and I thought i can make it with Baduk images.

I did design myself Baduk stone and board. I am not an export of designing but I did my best using Microsoft ect.
