In the first round, the game between Kim JiSuk 8Dan and Chiu Jin 9Dan finished in the last. Chiu Jin 9Dan spent 3 and half hours and got two times penalty, and finally won against Kim JiSuk 8Dan by one point.

The rest of other players like Tan Shao, Xie He, Kong Jie, Lu Cing, and Pan TingWei won against players from Japan and Taiwan. In the second round, Choi ChelHan, Lee ChangHo, Lee SeDol from Korea, Guli, Park MunYu, Jang WeiJie from China, Jho ChiHun from Japan, Jang Shi from Taiwan are ready.
