Hero and next generation's hero of Korea won together.
Ing Cup is held every four years, so it is called as Baduk Olympic. Korea won this Ing Cup 5 times out of 6 times before, and Lee SeDol, Lee ChangHo, Park JungHwan, Won SungJin, Kim JiSuk; 6 players from Korea attended.

Only two players from Korea got into the semifinal, it is Lee ChangHo a hero of Korea who has been one of top player in the world for more than 15 years. Another is Park JungHwan having nickname of next generation's hero of Korea.

While 4 players from China were fighting in other group, two Korean players won together. Lee ChangHo won against JangShi from Taiwan and Park JungHwan won against Jo ChiHun from Japan.  

Lee ChangHo who came up second in the last Ing Cup led the game with Jang Shi from the beginning and kept it until the end. Lee ChangHo said that I (white) had better positions after reduction in the beginning. After that, Jang Shi tried to turn the game up for him, but it was over play which made the game easier for Lee ChangHo.

Lee ChangHo has showed very strong fighting spirit in the Ing Cup. He has won 4 times and came up second 2 times. It means he has been in the final every time. From the question of "do you feel any special about Ing Cup?" Lee ChangHo answered that I do not feel it is special but I think I am lucky to attend this Ing Cup.

10 players from China attended, and 2 players got into the semifinal. Especially Pan TingWei caught people's eyes. Pan TingWei won against Lee SeDol in the first round, and kept his win against Tan Shao 1rank in China in the second round as well. He has proven his ability in many tournaments in China but did not show much impact in the world championship. This time, Pan TingWei is proving his ability to all Baduk fans but director from China did not surprise by it. Hua ShiMing director of China said that as Pan TingWei is showing his strong level in many tournaments, I am not surprised to see this. But I was a bit surprised when Pan TingWei won against Lee SeDol. I think all young players in China are already same level with top players. I believe that they will show more time to time. AI¹ø
