[EGC] Champion of Europe, Ilia Shikshin!

Ilia Shikshin 7D of Russia, younger brother of Shikshina Svetlana 3P, became the 2011 European champion defeating Catalin Taranu 5P of Romania in the final match. The third place was the super star, Artem Kachanovskyi 7D of Ukraine, and Alexandr Dinershteyn 3P placed 4th.
The main tournament format of 2011 EGC was different from before. After 7 rounds, the best placed 8 players with European nationality start own finals in knock out system, and losers of the finals return to the ordinary main tournament. This change determines the real European champion with European final match.
