[KGC World Ladies¢®? Cup] Round 9: Team Japan is alive
In round 9 of the 9th KGC World Ladies' cup, Yoshida Mika 8P of Japan defeated Tang Yi 2P of China by 1.5 points.
The game was favorable for Tang Yi, but she was off her guard in the endgame. According to Kang Hoon 2P, White (Tang Yi) should have captured Black 78 before playing 190. Furthermore, Black 207 was the point of turning the tables.
Now China also has one player left, Lui Nai Wei 9P.

The 9th KGC World Ladies' Cup is a ring contest where five representative players of Korea, China, and Japan participate to determine the winner of the country. Each player who wins continues to play opponents from the other two teams, alternating between them until there are no more opponents left.
Top prize is 75,000,000 Won (approx. $ 67,000), and for runner up 15,000,000 Won (approx. $ 14,000). Each player is given 1 hour and 3 periods of 40 seconds for the overtime.
