[KGC World Ladies¢®? Cup] Round 7: Moon set a new record
Amazing! Moon Dowon 2P of Korea set a new record, seven consecutive wins!
In the 7th round of the 9th KGC World Ladies' Cup, Moon Dowon defeated Suzuki Ayumi 5P of Japan by 3.5 points after 240 moves.
She won the game through the difficult opening. This time was also not favorable for her in the opening, giving some stones on the right upper corner.
However, she came from behind and won again. When Suzuki Ayumi 5P played weak in the middle game, she got a chance to turn the tables. She played strong, so she could catch up a little. Especially in this game, Moon Dowon played excellent in the ending game and finally won by 3.5 points.
She broke the record and swept the first stage.
So far, China has 2 players left, and Japan only has 1 player left. On the other hand, Korea has the all 5 players. The issue of this cup is now focusing on till when Moon Dowon can keep her winning streak rather than the winner team.
Her remarkable play in the 9th KGC World Ladies' Cup will restart from Mar. 22. Congratulations!
