2022 Hangzhou Asian Game Baduk selection contest for the Korean squad will be held until April 8^th. 

KBA professional baduk players are eligible to attend the selection competition, and it’s consisted of 3 steps preliminary round, tournament, and final.  Total of 2 men and 1 woman will be selected.   

For this year’s Hangzhou Asian Game(Baduk), 3 medals are included - men’s group, women’s group, and men’s individual. 

For men’s group team, national ranking 1,2 Shin-Jinseo and Park-Junghwan are selected for the top seeds.  Byun-Sangil and Kim-Myunghoon have passed the national team selection competition and now are in the national team.

Meanwhile, in case of women’s team members, women pro-baduk players Choi-Jung and Oh-Yujin are selected for the top seeds, and Kim-Chaeyoung has passed the selection competition and joined the women’s group team.    

Korea has earned all 3 gold medals in 2010 Guangzhou Asian Game pair-go, men’s group, and women’s group.      <
