Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has presented ‘baduk promotion basic plan’ on December 1^st.  Baduk promotion act was approved in 2018 October 8^th, and baduk promotion basic plan was presented in 3 years. 

The basic plan will be established and carried out by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. 

KBA and KBF have gone through the basic research for baduk promotion and sent it to Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.  Starting from 2019, the official research is processed. 

The basic plan is ‘baduk is leading the 100 years of life, as a creative hobby’, with 3 promotion strategies and 8 specific promotion tasks. 

The 3 main promotion strategies are 1. Making baduk’s environment sustainable 2. Promoting baduk as a life sport, and 3. Establishing baduk’s industrialization.
