Baduk’s level becomes standardized – AI level check
Level Standardization and AI level check test are applied to baduk. Plus, related stadiums will also be established.
Ministry of culture, sports and tourism has presented baduk promotion basic plan1 that’s progressed until 2026.
The first goal is to establish the rules and system. Ministry of culture, sports and tourism will support the baduk education places. The biggest noticeable change is level standardization, creating AI level check system. Plus, establishing baduk specific facilities.
Another aim is to promote baduk as a life sports hobby. Currently, majority of baduk fans are 60s, the elders, so we are trying to target 20s and 30s by using the state of the art IT technology as well as AI.
