Seoul WonbongRuhens took the first victory in the play-offs for the 2017 National BadukLeague.

During the firstrounds of post season games for this year's National Baduk League held on October18^th at K-Baduk Studio in Pangyo SG Tower, Wonbong Ruhens wonagainst Seoul ABCON by 3 to 2, earning their first win.

The victory of Wonbong Ruhens waslargely thanks to their female member Lee Dan-be and senior member LeeChul-joo.

While Choi Kwang-ho from SeoulABCON won the first game, Lee Dan-bi from Wonbong Ruhens played against KimJeong-woo from Seoul ABCON, whose nickname is the ¡®god of patience' to solidifytheir victory. However, Kim was short of defeating Lee, whose records are 11wins and 6 losses in the official league. Kim displayed an incredible pursuitat the end of the game but lost by 1.5 points.

Jeong Jun-hwanfrom Wonbong Ruhens lost, causing the team to stand at the edge, but itregained its winning cards after Cho Se-hyun, who has been struggling with 5wins and 12 losses defeated Lee Sang-bin.

In the finalgame, the victory came down to between Lee Chul-joo from Wonbong Ruhens and RyuSeung-hee from ABCON. Lee won the final game, bringing precious victory to theteam. It was a very close game in which the result was decided by the Pae fightin the upper part, and Lee took the game in the end. Wonbong Ruhens won therounds by 3 to 2.

Yang Deok-joo, the director ofWonbong Ruhens commented after the victory. "It would've been easier if Jeongwon the first game, but we faced more difficulties since he couldn't. All theplayers did great especially the oldest player Lee, and I expect good resultsfrom the remaining games."

The play-offs for 2017 NationalBaduk League is held by quarter-final step-ladder style. On October 25^th,the 2^nd rounds will be held between Tumor Screen(3^rdplace, Dream League) and Hwaseong City(4^th place, Magic League).

In the play-off gamesfor National Baduk League, 30minutes and 3 times of 30 seconds overtime will begiven. The winner will be decided with the results of 5 games. 1^stand 2^nd games are held from 18:30, 3^rd and 4^thfrom 19:30, and the 5^th games are held from 20:30.

All the post season games will belive broadcasted from K-Baduk studio from October 18^th to November22^nd on every Wednesday. The final games will be held on December 9^th.

The total amount of prize moneyfor National Baduk League is 100,000,000KRW. 10,000,000KRW, 7,000,000KRW,5,000,000KRW, 3,000,000KRW is respectively awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd3^rd, and 4^th ranked teams in each of Dream and MagicLeague. For the champion team of the post season, 20,000,000KRW is awarded.10,000,000KRW, 3,000,000KRW, and 1,000,000KRW is each awarded for therunner-up, 3^rd ranked teams, and 8 teams in quarter-finals.
