The final is between Korea and China in Kooksu Mountain cup. 

Korea and China teams won each against Taiwan and Japan by 3 to 0.

From Korea, Lee Sedol 9P finished the game first against Yu Jungchi from Japan. Yu Jungchi 7P had too big mistake in the beginning as he could't read his group to be dead. It was such a strange moment that top players had such a mistake in the world championship.

After that, Park Junghwan and Kang Dongyun 9P also won each against Hujita Akihiko and Shibano Doromalu showing different level. Shibano Doramaru from Japan has showed very strong impact as he won against Park Jinyoung, An Joyoung, Wo Kwangya in the preliminary league of Samsung cup.

In the match between China and Taiwan, there was no unexpected result. Pan Tingyu and Zhou Luiyang each won against Shao Junghao, Chen Shiyuan.
