Xuja Yuan 2Dan got full attention from Japan.
In the beginning of May, there was 1st Globis Youth Cup in Japan. In that tournament,
Zuja Yuan won against Choi Jung 4Dan, Li JinCheng 1Dan and Sha ChenKun 3Dan and came up
second. It is true that not many people expect that result from Xuja Yuan.
Xuja Yuan is from Taiwan and became a pro last year. His name was not very famous but Japan is exciting to see that he came up second in Globis Cup.
Xuja Yuan said that Chinese players are very strong in middle game and powerful. I want to learn from that and I hope to get more experiences to have games with Chinese players.
Two years ago, Japan was so excited when Ida Azhisi got into the round 32 of 4th
BCcard Cup. It was really hard to see that Japanese player got through the severe preliminary
league of world championship, but Ida Azhisi did it.
Ida Azhisi became a challenger in Honinbo Cup and Japan is watching on him a lot recently.
Ida Azhisi only lost against Jang Shi but won against Dakoa Shinji, Yamasita Gaigo etc who are
much more famous than him.
Xuja Yuan and Ida Azhisi are showing their great condition and potential in many tournaments. Japan is expected to live up once again and people wait it a lot
