Park JungHwan, Kim JiSuk, Lee SeDol, Choi ChelHan, Park YonugHun are top 5 in Korea at the moment. They are planning to joijn the final of the LG Cup on 19^th. And with them, Byun Sangil, An Kook"Hun, An HyongJun, Kim DongHo go compete together.

There were preliminary tournaments of LG Cup from 14^th ~ 19^th. From that severe competition, 4 players from Korea and 12 players from China got tickets.

Byun Sangil and Kim DongHo won each against Park JungSang and Jin SiYoung and got tickets. There were 9 final matches for the final tickets between Korea and China. Korea got only 2 wins out of 9 matches. An KookHun won against Guli and An HyongJun won against Kong Jie.

An HyongJun got a final ticket 2 times in a row. Last year, he won against Shi Wei but lost against Li Je after. An HyongJun said that Korea is full of sadness at the moment. So I wore dark clothes to be together with them during plyaing. Even I won the game and got a ticket, but I can't really be happy and smile .

An KookHun also said that even I feel happy to win against Guli, but I realized there are really many strong players in China through this preliminary tournaments.

Last year, the number of players is 4 to 4 between Korea and China, but this year it is 4 to 12 between Korea and China.

From China, total 12 players got tickets. Pan TingYu, Mi YuTing, Pao Wonyao, Xie Erhao, Li Shianhao etc. Especially Li Weiching got a ticket who is the youngest player this year. He won against Shin MinJun, Jo InSun, Sui Shao and Han TaeHae.

Li WeiChing said that it is first time for me to be in the final of the world tournament. The final goal is to win the tournament, but I would be very satisfy to win 1 game now.

He learned Baduk when he was 5 and China Baduk Association is training many talented players like him with advanced program.
