For the first time, Japan started national team named GOGO Japan. People are curious how it is working on Japan's Baduk recently.

It has been already 1 year since it started. There are several small and big issues. Iyama Yuta, Dakao Shinji got round 8 in LG Cup and Mulakawa Daiske won against Lee SeDol 9Dan. And they have almost even results against Korea national team. And Kono Lin won against Pan TingYu and Mulakawa Daiske won also against Len Shao.

In this year's LG Cup, they are showing much better results than before. Yichiliki Lyu won against Wang Shi rank 4 in China and Shida Azhisi won against Gu LingYi rank 17 in China.

Jang Liyou the GOGO Japan's coach said that they have great levels and it was really good to beat Chinese top rankers. But they have more in the future.

In GOGO Japan, the way of training has not been really changes compared to the its beginning. The main content is to have online games on every Friday and Saturday.

But it is really hard for them to gather often. Because they live in a very different place. And they study in their studying group on their own. Korea and Chinese players gather and study together while Japan keeps their own way.

Korea and China national teams have in common that they support technical and mental matters to players with the idea that Baduk is a sport. But many people have different ideas in Japan.

Anyway, GOGO Japan is working well on it and they are improving on their own. The more they improve and compete better with Korea and Chinese players, the more Baduk fans will be great to see their competition.
