Korea should remember to lose all power to China in 2013.
Tang WeiXing 3Dan 20 years old from China won against Lee SeDol 9Dan from Korea and got the SamSung title. Tang WeiXing won against Lee SeDol by resign with white in the second game, so total score is 2 to 0.
Lee SeDol lost first game by a half point and he couldn't live up good chances in the second game and fell down. Lee SeDol made the game good for him in the second game but got behind as he failed to attack. And Lee 9Dan got a last chance but couldn't get it in the end game.
Han SeongJu 2Dan commented this game that Tang WeiXing 3Dan got better position from the time he covered the center and there were many variations after that, but Tang 3Dan arranged well after that.
This result is out of expectation for Korea as Lee SeDol 9Dan got momentum as the year end. But Lee 9Dan would feel very tired as he had too many important games in November and December.
By this SamSung Cup's result, Korea has no world championship title in 2013. All titles are taken by Chinese players this year.
Most of winners of world championship are young players in China called after 90s; Juo LuiYang (BakLyeong Cup), Shi Wei (LG Cup), Pan TingWei (Ing Cup), Chen YaoYe (ChunLan Cup), Mi YuTing (MongBak Cup) and Tang WeiXing (SamSung Cup).
YuBin the director of China Baduk team said that we normally have little expectations when an young player from China got into the final of the world championship. But Tang WeiXing 3Dan showed great level against Lee SeDol 9Dan even his name is unknown.
I am very happy to see many of young players in China called after 90s won all world championship in 2013. But they need to keep this fighting spirit further and reach the level of Lee ChangHo and Lee SeDol. List
