Kim HyoJung the first women head of Korea Pro Club

Kim HyoJung 2Dan was chosen to be next head of Korea Pro Club. Korea Pro Club is the official club for every Baduk pros in Korea.
There was a vote for next head of KPC. 206 pro players in Korea attended and voted for their ideal people. There were two candidates, first is Kim HyoJung 2Dan and the other is Yang Gun 9Dan. In the end, Kim HyoJung 2Dan got 105 votes and won.
Kim HyoJung 2Dan new head of KPC said that I am so excited now. I you're your help, I will listen instead of talking from you.
Below is the interview with Kim HyoJung 2Dan.
- Congratulation. How do you feel now?
I have many responsibilities now. I will do my best to boost Baduk in Korea.
I decided it just one month before the vote. But it is not sudden decision. I got a lot of experiences from Baduk society in Korea. I thought the main problem in our Baduk society is communication. To help it, I thought I can scarify myself to do it for all pro players.
- You are still young and women.
I don't think that there is any trouble I do this position with my gender. This position is to run for other people and listen, this isn't required age. When I need it, I will ask elderly players.
- How do you help communication between old and young players?
There are old players who are over 70 years old and young players who are before 20. I think there arise problems because they don't talk and don't know each other. I will become the bridge between them.
