Hong MinPyu 8Dan commented that the game was always good for Pan TingYu and assured of the result around 100 moves.
Pan TingYu 9Dan from China won against Yao ZhiTeng 1Dan from Japan by resign with black in the first match of the 15th NongSim Cup.
It was a perfect win for Pan 9Dan. This game shows level difference between top ranker in China and young player in Japan. Yao ZhiTeng 1Dan showed very new moves 3 times during the game but it has little effects on the game. The game was finished in 2.5 hours and both players did not review the game.
Choi ChelHan 9Dan that both players' level has gaps and Yao ZhiTeng 1Dan did not show his level as he seemed to have too much tension.
Choi KiHun 4Dan is ready for next round from Korea. Choi KiHun 4Dan love territory and very strong in the end game. Choi 4Dan said before the game that I won't remain any regret for the game which shows his great fighting spirit.
