LS Group announced on the homepage that there was a LS-Vietnam Baduk championship 2013 sponsored by LS Grup from 25th ~ 29th on August. This sponsor is aim to enlarge Vietnam people's interests of Baduk by supporting cultural exchange between two countries.
Gu JaHong a chairman of LS Group said that LS is making its steps in HoChimin, Hanoi and Haipong by operating LS branches. We are doing our best to be a best partner with Vietnam people and this Baduk tournament is also one of our steps for it.
There were 90 players from 8 cities like Hanoi, Hochimin etc and the tournament was held for 4 days. It is said that there are a variety players from many cities and their level improved a lot comparing to last year.
Lee KangWook 8Dan who is living there to spread Baduk in Vietnam said that Cyberoro and KABA sponsored and we had 2013 Wbaduk Cup Vietnam League which helped a lot to make Baduk more popular here in Vietnam.
LS Group said that they will have this event next year as well.
