It is first time for Japan to have a selection tournament for representative of Japan for NongSim Cup.

Japan Baduk Association announced on 16^th that we will have a selection tournament for 2 representatives for NongSim Cup this year.

This selection tournament is very common in Korea and China but not in Japan. They have been choosing their representatives according to the ranks. So new members have no chance to play in NongSim cup before. This may prevent for  new and young players to get experience by playing in world team tournament.

Last 20^th of May, Japan announced to make GoGoJapan which is a national representative of Japan and said that a director has all rights to choose players.

Yamashilo Hiroshi 9Dan became a director and said that I will not choose players with my own ideas, instead I will listen to others and also consider player's potentials.

Jang Liyou 9Dan a coach said that all top players are doing their best for this GoGoJapan project, now it is time for new and young players to show their potentials and passion.

Iyama Yuta 9Dan said about this movement that it has been just short time since we started this movement. I can't say that we became strong by it, but we feel many Baduk fans cheer us up and also we are very proud of being representatives of Japan which is kind of pride.

15^th NongSim Cup will be held from 22th of October in China.
