The wall of rank was pretty thick. There was no miracle between Kang DongYun and Kang SeongMin. Their rank is 5th (Kang DongYun) and 28th (Kang SeongMin).
Kang DongYun 9Dan won against Kang SeongMin 2Dan by rsign with white in the 3R of 2013 olleh Cup on 26th of July. So far, Lee SeDol, Kang DongYun, Byen Sangil and Lyu SuHang are in the round 16.
Kang DongYun 9Dan got better positions by the reading battle on the upper side. Actually Kang 9Dan's group looked very weak and dangerous. But Kang 9Dan found only way to survive using Pae and when it ended, the game was already good for Kang 9Dan. Kang SeongMin 2Dan tried to overcome it by making Pae in the other side, but Kang DongYun 9Dan defended too well for it.
