There was a commemorate game in ChenShin Cup between Lee SeDol 9Dan and Guli 9Dan on 20th of March. The local newspaper interviewed both plaeyrs next day of the game and below is it.
One of Chinese reporter described about Lee SeDol; that I felt he is very polite and very thoughtful.
And Lee SeDol 9Dan smiled all time during the interview with Baduk fans. His smile effected many people including Guli 9Dan in a good way.
And Chinese reporter said about Guli 9Dan that I knew he drinks a lot of alcohol but it was out of my expectations. And he sings very well. I like his character even it was first meeting with Guli.
What do you think about this game?
Lee SeDol : I like the game and my condition was best. It was the best game I had recently. Personally, I am very satisfied with it.
Guli : What to say? The game was so exciting all. But I had mistakes in the middle game which is my losing point. I feel kind of pity but I will prepare more and show better game against Lee SeDol next time.
- What do you think about Guli?
Lee SeDol :He is my rival in Baduk and friend in life. Especially we are very closed when we do not play Baduk.
- Who is better between Korea and China?
Lee SeDol : Currently, Chinise players are very strong as well as Korean players. I think we have very tight balanced today, but I think China will be better after 5 years.
- How do you feel about this place Jing DeJen?
Lee SeDol :It is my first time to be here and not long to stay here. But I am very happy to meet Baduk fans here, hope to come here again.
