Won against Park JungHwan 9Dan in the first game out of 3.

Lee ChangHo got a great chance to come back.  

Lee ChangHo 9Dan won against Park JungHwan 9Dan by resign with white in the first game of the 31th KBS Baduk tournament.

Lee ChangHo tried to be very active from the beginning and finally decided the game by capturing Park 9Dan's group in the end.

There were a lot of strong players in the final this time. Back HongSuk 9Dan, Na Hun 2Dan, Won SungJin 9Dan, Byon Sangil 2Dan, Park JungHwan 9Dan, Heo YoungHo 9Dan, Lee SeDol 9Dan, Kim JiSuk 9Dan, Mok JinSuk 9Dan, Choi ChelHan 9Dan etc.

It was a war in the final. But Lee ChangHo got in the final for the first. While Park JungHwan 9Dan had many difficulties to be in the final.

This title has a great meaning for both players. Lee ChangHo has been out of the title since 2011. And Lee ChangHo 9Dan is closed to 40s and we can see his lose in the preliminary league, at least more often than before.

And he failed to be the representative of Korea for NongSim Cup which he has been the player for last 14 years.

Park JungHwan 9Dan has been rank 1 for 5 months but he did not show very strong impact and Lee SeDol 9Dan came back to rank 1. By this time, Park 9Dan can revive his condition and do something more than last year.
