Sankei newspaper showed its interests in having a match between top players and AI Baduk name Jeonsung Cup.
Jeonsung Cup is a event to know which level AI BAduk comes so far and give motivations to researchers.
The AI softwares which came up first and second in UEC Cup computer Baduk tournament will play each against Isida Yousioh 9Dan with three and four stones handicap.
In Japan, a AI Baduk software named Zen had a game against Dakemiya Masaki 9Dan with 4 stones handicap and won in the end. Dakemiya 9Dan said I could not expect AI sofrware plays well like this.
Kato director of computer Baduk forum said that we are develoiping AI Baduk software year by year. I think AI software can play evenly against top players in 10 years.
