Lee SeDol 9Dan won against Guli 9Dan by half point with black in 2012 Samsung Cup and won the tournament in the end.
It is first win the world tournament for Lee SeDol.
The last game was expected to be hard for Lee SeDol as he lost second game without showing his power.
But last game was different. Lee SeDol got better position in the beginning but had many crises.
The game was decided in the end game. Lee SeDol was behind when the end game started, and Guli tried to arrange the game without unexpected changes.
But Guli 9Dan showed his weakness in the end game and lost.
Lee SeDol showed amazing game in the first game which he was behind. Lee 9Dan won two games by only 1 point.
Lee SeDol said in the interview that I knew to win at almost last moment. Guli 9Dan had many chaces to win but I could manage my mind and won. I do not think I win against Guli in Samsung Cup. We had good match and I was happy to play with him.

"I am really happy to play with him.
- You said you want to be a top player until 40s.
"I hope to be a top player until 60s, but it will be difficult.
- When will you meet with Guli for drinking?
"We were really happy to compete in the Samsung Cup. When Guli 9Dan wins the world tournament, I will come to China to drink with him.
- Which part do you want to improve?
"It is clear that I am weak in beginning. And also I need to make my health strong to keep concentration.

"I showed my full skills but lost in the end. It means Lee 9Dan is better than me. I will study more.

"If we could play until 60s, it is just beginning. I hope to play with him more than 100 games.
