Choi 9Dan is recoding 9 win in a row after losing against Chen YaoYe 9Dan in the Chenwon Cup total score 2 to 0. In his 9 win, Lee SeDol, Won SungJin etc top rankers are included and Choi 9Dan is in the semi-final in the both tournaments 2012 olleh Cup and Samsung Cup.
Choi 9Dan won against Jo HanSeong 9Dan by resign with black in the 2012 olleh Cup on 11th.
Choi 9Dan showed very new beginning which is not in a formal way tyring to shake Jo 9Dan up as he wants. But Jo 9Dan answered one by one and makes balance. Choi 9Dan had his mood during the game, but actually the game was very closed until the end. Jo 9Dan got territory step by step and it seems Jo 9Dan had better position in the end game.
But Jo 9Dan couldn't keep the better position and made mistakes in the end game. Choi 9Dan got this point and finished the game.
Choi 9Dan said that I couldn't control the game as I wanted and felt I was short of territory. But thanks to Jo 9Dan's mistakes in the end game, I could win. I am in the semi-final, but will not satisfy here. I will do my best in the following games.
