[SamSung Cup] Won SungJin kept promise
Thanks to double elimination system.
Korea got bad result in the first match. While Korea got 4 wins 8 loses, China got 12 wins and Japan got 3 loses in the end.
The first match of the 2012 SamSung Cup World Baduk Championship was held in Beizing in China on 4th.
Lee SeDol delivered his win for the first time in the first match against Ne Weifing who got the wild card from the sponsor by 19.5 points with white. And Lee 9Dan will meet Guli 9Dan who won against Jang Shi9Dan.
However, after Lee SeDol's win, it was hard to hear Korea players win. Only Choi ChelHan and Choi Jung's win were heard after that. Won SungJin won by opponent's mistakes in the end. Total 4 players from Korea won in the first match.
Choi Jung's win was kind of big issue in the first match. Her opponent was Juo Heshi rank 25 in China and won against Kim JiSuk and Peng Chen who are known to be very strong in the preliminary league. But contrary to people's expectation, Choi Jung controlled the game and won in the end.
After the game, Choi Jung said that I was behind in the beginning, but my opponent made mistakes in the middle game. When I saw that Juo Heshi was really happy to know I am his opponent, I decided to do my best to win against him. As I had too much tension during the game, I was about to fall down but I could manage and win the game. My next opponent is Li JinCheng who won against Park JungHwan 9Dan in the first match.
