Geneva Ko Go Tournament 2012
The "No Price" ceremony ended a 2 days tournament dominated by Sébastien Koch 3d that was clearly the strongest, and who became the Geneva champion. They were "No price" because the 30 participants donated all their prices (and even more) to the Japan Chernobyl Foundation for the victims of the Fukushima catastroph. More than 1100 CHF were collected, and Tetsuo Nakajo initiator of the idea, who convinced the Ko Go Club comitee and by the way second of the tournament just before Simon Janin, can be happy of his work.
Guillaume Lan Chow Wing and Francois Zwilling from Annecy got 4 points and Jean-Marc Louis, one of the main organiser pointed out he was happy to see our go friends from Annecy back in Switzerland, with an excellent results.
A big thank you to the city of Veyrier, Geneva/Veyrier Ko Go Club, Jean-Marc, Tetsuo, Guillaume, François, Sandra and to all participants. Reported by A.D.W. from the salle communale de Veyrie.
