An SungJun 3Dan (22) got the final for the first time. He is 32 rank in Korea now and expect to be rise up his rank next time.

On the first of August, An SungJun 3Dan won against Lee YoungGu 9Dan who is defending champion by half point with white in the 8^th Korea Price Information Cup. An 3Dan steps to final for the first time.  

The beginning was overwhelmed by Lee YoungGu. Especially An 3Dan's attack on the left side was not good and Lee 9Dan captured important stones in the center and led the game much. An 3Dan said that the game was very bad for me, Lee 9Dan had many chances to win. I think when I captured three stones on the lewer side, then I thought the game became closed and also got better on the right side, the game became really closed. However I think Lee 9Dan had many chances to win, even in the end game.

Kim JiSuk 8Dan came there to review saying that Lee 9Dan had a last chance in the end game to win half point, but when Lee 9Dan missed it, Kim 8Dan said the game was for An 3Dan.

It was first match between An SungJun and Lee YoungGu. An 3Dan looks older than Park JungHwan but actually An 3Dan is older than Park JungHwan 9Dan.
