She was born in 1996 and became a professional player in 2010, and her teacher is You Chang Huk 9Dan. Before becoming a professional player, she captured people's eyes by her talent of Baduk, but the turning point was GG Auction Cup last year. She made 8 wins in a row and Seo Bong Su 9Dan and Seo Neong Uk 9Dan even lost against her.

Last year, after that sensation in GG Auction Cup, she had title match with Lui 9Dan in the Women KiSung Cup. Even though she lost in the match, it was enough to show her potential.

In 2012, Choi Jung 1Dan won against Kim MiLi 2Dan in the women Myeongin Cup with a score of 2 to 0 and got the title for the earliest age of woman.
