The 23th Fujitsu Cup started. The opening ceremony is held on April 9, and the first round starts on April 10.
The Fujitsu Cup was the first world Baduk championship. The first event was held in 1988, and it has taken place every year since then. The winner's prize is ¥15,000,000, and the runner-up prize is ¥5,000,000
Each player is allowed 3 hours and 1 minute's overtime counting for 10 times for the time control.
