Lee SeDol 9Dan got a MVP in the 2011 Baduk Grand Prize.
On the 28th of December, Lee SeDol was appointed to be a MVp of this year by a variety of surveys from magazine, internet reporter and baduk fans etc.
Lee SeDol 9Dan won 4 titles in Korea and two titles in the world Championship. It seems that he got MVP prize for the 7th consecutive years except the year when he retired for a while in 2009.
He said in the interview that, I think I am not really enough to get this prize this year, but I regard this to cheer me up next year.
A fighting sprit prize is for Won SungJin 9Dan who won the 16th Samsung Cup. It is pretty surprise that he got the prize for the first time since he became professional player.
Won 9Dan said that, I got this prize because I have been attending this ceremony every year, I will become a player who should not get this prize like Lee SeDol and Lee ChangHo.
Senior player prize is for Lui Naiwei 9Dan who is going back to China and rookie of the year is for Na Hhun 1Dan who showed his potential in the Samsung Cup this year.
