Park Younghoon 9P of Korea became the Myungin of Asia, defeating the other Myungins of China and Japan. In the first round, Park Younghoon defeated Iyama Yuta 9P of Japan and advanced to the final match. Iyama Yuta played the second round against Jiang Wei Jie 5P of China but lost again. Therefore, Jiang Wei Jie became the other finalist.

In the final match, Park Younghoon showed better play in the opening, winning the fights on the left side and lower side. He finally won the game by resignation after 132 moves.
