The Mexican Youth Go Championship 2011, which was held last june 4th. We had assistance of 71 children from different schools and clubs ranged in rank from 30kyu to 10kyu, this was a great opportunity to round up the majority of young players in the same place and make new friends. After this we're looking forward to help consolidate the existing Go clubs and eventually raise more Go programs for youth in México. Winners' results, 1st: Fernando Álvarez 13k, 2nd: Vicente A. The event wouldn't be possible without the collaboration of Go teachers, players and volunteers who offered their efforts to run the tournament, we want to thank them as well as the AGF for their stones sponsorship, with this support we could fulfil the material resources.
