The 3rd BC Card Cup quarter finals have been started. Interestingly, the eight finalists are comprised of four Korean players and four Chinese players. 

Park Junghwan 9P of Korea advanced to the semifinals by defeating the top ranked player of China, Zhou Rui Yang 5P by resignation. He will face either Lee Sedol 9P or Chen Yaoye 9P. In an interview he said that he would like to face the last year winner, Lee Sedol.

The 3rd BC Card Cup's winner prize is 300 million Won (approx. $ 275,500). Each player is given 2 hours and 3 periods of 1 minute for the overtime.
