The second round of the 23rd Female Meijin title match restarted. On Mar. 11, the game started but had to stop at Move 56 because of the massive earthquake; the game continued on Mar. 23.

In round 2, Xie Yi min 5P defeated Mukai Chiaki 4P by resignation. Now the series is tie at 1-1.

The current title holder is Xie Yimin, and she has held the title for the last three years. The challenger is Mukai Chiaki, and she was again the challenger last year but lost the series 2-0.

The third round will be played on Mar. 25, 10:00 a.m. (Korean Standard Time) in Japanese Go Association located in Tokyo.
