Lee Changho 9P and Park Younghoon 9P advanced to the 12th Maxim Cup final by defeating Mok Jinseok 9P and Choi Chulhan 9P. Both of the games were ended by resignation.

This win meant a lot to Lee Changho. He has been having bad results recently and made his fan worried about him. Some of people even guessed Lee Changho's prime is past. However, this win improves that he is coming out of his slump and still one of the top players in the world.

The title match is a best of three series, and the date has yet not decided.

The 12th Maxim Cup is a Korean domestic championship, and only 9 dan players can participate in it. 

It allows each player 10 minutes and 40 second's overtime counting for 3 times for the time control. The winner's prize is 25 Million Won (about $ 223,934) and runner-up prize is 80 Million Won (about $ 22,300)
