Jo Hyeyeon 9P defeated Lee Sedol 9P by resignation after 263 moves in the 16th GS Caltex Cup preliminary round 2 played on last Christmas Eve.

Jo Hyeyeon advanced to 9P on Dec 20, 2010 for getting a gold medal in 2010 Asian Game. She became the fourth 9P female player in the world. Four days after the advance, she won the world champion Lee Sedol.

This year she became famous for her devout Christian faith by refusing playing games on Sundays. This Christmas would have been much more wonderful for her.
