[Oza] Title Challenging Match 1 Result
In the 58th Oza title challenging match 1, the title holder Chang Hsu 9P defeated the challenger Yamada Kimio 9P by resignation after 205 moves.
Chang Hsu and Yamada Kimio have once faced as a title holder and a challenger in the 57th Oza, and they met again. Last year, Chang Hsu blocked Yamada Kimio by 3:0.
The title challenging match is a best of five series.
Each player is given 3 hours and 5 times of 1 minute for the overtime. The championship prize is 13,500,000 Yen (approx. $ 165,000). Japan Oza is managed by Nihon Keizai Shinbun.
