It seems that most of Baduk people are aware of great impact by AlphaGo, and focus on next match. Ke Jie 9P who is currently ranked 1st in the world ranking have a match with AlphaGo on following April.

After that match, AlphaGo is expected have a special match of 1 to 3 which means human players of 3 can discuss and play one game agianst AlphaGo.

Below is the interview with Yu Bin 9P who is a director of China Baduk Team.

Q : Is it true the match between AlphaGo and Ke Jie on April?

A : As I know, there is no official annoucement from China Baduk Associaion. There are plenty of news about it, but it is not fact yet.

Q : What human can learn from AlphaGo?

A : I think the judgement is so accurate and great level in balancing the game. These points are much better than human.

Q : It is true that China is aheading from Korea and Japan recently.

A : I think China is aheading a little, but I can't be sure which country would be ahead in the future as AlphaGo comes up to all. All players can improve by the match with AI programs, and this would be the best way to study for all players. It is not limited for Asia players, but also for NA and Europe players. The level would be very closed among all players in the future.
