Mi Yuting 9P won against Shin Jinseo 7P by resign with black in the final of 2016 Limin cup. By this win, China got a trophy 2 years in a row.

In the final, both players took different side, Mi 9P took territories while Shin 7P took influence. But Shin 7P was in a hurry as he was short of territories. The last chance was in the center when Mi 9P had weak group, but Shin 7P was reluctant to attack directly and lost chance. Even Shin 7P did his best after that, he couldn't get points as much as he lost in the center.

Mi Yuting 9P who became 20 year old got second trohpy in the world championship, his first win was in 1st MLily cup.
