[Korea Myeongin] Keep an eye on Ahn Kukhyun 2P!
Ahn Kukhyun 2P is definitely a rising star! He became a pro in December, 2009, and started playing official professional games from March 10, 2010. Surprisingly, on the last day of May, he moved up to 2P. His record is 20 wins and 8 losses so far.
Ahn Kukhyun is also playing well in Myeongin league A. On June 17, he defeated Baek Hongsuk 7P by resignation. He is now leading the league A with Kang Dongyoon 9P.
The total scale of the 38th Myeongin is 800 million Won (approx. $ 712,000) and first prize is 100 million Won (approx. $ 89,000). Except the first and second prizes, game winners are given 1.5 million Won (approx. $ 1,240), and the game losers are given 700 thousand Won (approx. $ 580).
