| The round 8 of 3rd Baklyung cup has been held, and 2 players each Korea and China survived in the semi final. Chen Yaoye 9P won against Park Junghwan 9P by resign with white which was shocking result for Korea. Chen 9P's strategy is to focus on the territories from the beginning while Park 9P got influnces outside. In this game, Chen 9P showed his strength well as he lived escaping from Park 9P's attacks. When Park 9P realzed he has no place to attack anymore, he resigned. Until last year, the winner of the Baklyung cup was the player who won against Park Junghwan 9P. Park 9P lost against Juo Luiyang and Ke Jie in the 1st & 2nd years. After that, Ke Jie 9P won against Shi Zhayang by resign with black. So Chinese players got 2 seats first in the semi-final. Therefore, the semi-final was filled two players each from Korea and China. Next match is Won Sungjin vs Ke jie & Shin Jinseo vs Chen Yaoye, and this will be continued from 27th ~ 30 th August. |
