GG Auction Cup is known to have very special rule for the tournament. It is the match between senior players and top women players. This has been 10 years since this GG Auction Cup has given very pleasant matches to Baduk fans.  

The tournament rule has been changed a lot which is good for senior players. They can't have Cho HunHyun 9P from this year while women team is getting stronger as ther are improving day by day. So the sponcor changed the rule and many of young senior players can attend from this year.

The main change for senior team is that Lee Changho 9P to be here this year. They lowered the limitation of age to senior team. So Lee Changhgo 9P, Yu Changhuk 9P and Seo Bongsoo 9P got seed for senior team and other 8 tickets will be decided by preliminary league.

Even though the rule has been changed good for senior team, many expect it to be very competative. Choi Jung 6P who is the top women player said that It would be very interesting and competative this year as there are many strong senior players who are new from this year such as Lee ChangHo 9P and so on. But I have confidence to compete well whoever comes up to my opponent, but the result is unknown.
