Lee Sedol once got better position when he succeeding in living his weak group well in the middle game. But Lee 9P lost many points as it went to the end game. As known before, AlphaGo is excellent in end game.

1AlphaGo won against Lee Sedol 9P by resign with white in the 5th game and the total score is 4 to 1 for AlphaGo.

Lee 9P showed very stable game from the beginning and led the game. Demis Hassabis also said in Twitter that AlphaGo made mistake in the beginning and trying to catch it up now.

But It was turned out for AlphaGo as it showed excellent level in the end game.

(Demis Hassabis) I don't know what to say, I can say I just watch great games here. It was pretty interesting game as well as AlphaGo followed one by one and finally turned it up. 

(Lee Sedol 9P) It was very pity as I made great ending. I thought I was leading, but it showed my level isn't enough to keep it uuntil the end. I thank all of you who cheers me up during the match.  

- Do you think AlphaGo is kind of upper position than you by this match?
(Lee Sedol 9P) Personally, I don't think AlphaGo is much better than human. Man can challenge, and this made me very pitty in my personal of view. Baduk is for enjoying, regardless of pro and amateur the basic is to enjoy Baduk. At some time, I have kept asking myself that do i really enjoy Baduk. But I am sure that I enjoyed a lot during the match with AlphaGo. One thing is that AlphaGo made me think again what I have known is right or wrong.

- You should have different feeling to compete with AlphaGo. Do you want to play again?
(Lee Sedol 9P) It is totally different to compete with human and AI. Everything was different and it took long time to adopt to it. I am doubtful whether I can win next time as AlphaGo doesn't lose its concentration and no changes at all. It would be depending on not only level but also for psychologically.

- Next plan?
(Demis Hassabis) We have been focusing only on this match. We don't have any plan now, we will come back to London and evaluate and decide next step.
